The Culture Corps Gender Equity Award is given annually to an international student in support of their work in bringing a global perspective on advancing gender equity to the University of Minnesota campus.
$500 award will be given to the recipient in support of their work on a project which brings a global perspective on advancing gender equity to the University of Minnesota. The recipient is recognized via the Women's Center media channels, at the annual Celebrating Changemakers event and/or other virtual recognition event hosted by the Women's Center.
- University of Minnesota student enrolled in a credit-granting program and in good academic standing;
- Be eligible for a Culture Corp award from International Student and Scholar Services
- Be on an F1 or J1 student visa;
- Maintain a credit load during the academic year following the receipt of the award. For example, students who apply by the June 2021 award deadline must maintain a credit load during the 2021-2022 academic year.
